What is a microreactor?
The term 'microreactor' is the generic name given to devices that enable continuous flow reactions by employing microfabrication modules (mixer, heat exchanger, etc.) with typical lateral dimensions below 1 mm. It is used for processes such as mixing, reaction, and extracting.
The advantages of a microreactor
Efficient mixing
Precise temperature control
Miniaturization and automation of the reaction devices
Highly efficient organic synthesis
